Kongshavn Design (KD) was established in 2007. Thorbjørn Kongshavn worked in different design and advertising companies in Oslo with clients like; Microsoft, Norsk Gjenvinning, Kia Motors, Ajungilak, DNB, Telenor, Cap Gemini, Oracle, Mastercard, Wilfa, Daihatsu, Aker Brygge, MSN, Rimi, HonningCentralen, Panasonic, Ewos, NHH, Universitetsforlaget, Varner Gruppen, Norsk Sykepleierforbund, Fretex and many more, before he moved back to his hometown, Bergen, in 2004. He was headteacher at Graphic Design department at NKF for nearly 4 years before he established Kongshavn Design in 2007. KD has been published in several books: Logo Creed: The Mystery, Magic, and Method Behind Designing Great Logos and Logolounge: Identities by Leading International Designers and published in global Trendreport. Thorbjørns illustrations has been published in USA, France and Germany.
In october 2016 Kongshavn Design was awarded with Platinum and Best in Category in The Creative International Award, for the Corporate Identity Manual for The Norwegian Museum of Travel and Tourism.
